Meet the Winemaker
Wikus Pretorius is the maestro behind La Petite Ferme’s wines. Many years ago, he started his wine journey helping out during harvesting season and soon found himself enchanted with the winemaking process. He honed his craft from the rugged French island of Corsica to California and Australia. He was instrumental in setting up a Namibian winery before finding a home at La Petite Ferme in 2015.
His diverse background, skills, and the unique environmental factors that impact our vineyard are the secret ingredients for the magic that unfolds as he creates our exceptional wines. Our respect for nature and his down-to-earth personality ensures that each bottle encapsulates the region’s essence.
