Wine of origin Franschhoek.
Rich cherry, dark fruit and plums, spiced with cinnamon and vanilla on the finish. The oak is very well integrated with powerful powdery tannins. Lots of weight on the mid palate.
Enjoy it now or cellar it up to 2027.
Picked between 25.0-25.5 balling. Fermentation in open fermenters for 10 days and cap punched down manually every 5 hours. Matured in 225L French oak barrels for 14 months with 25% new oak.
