Our South African Resident rates are applicable when booked within 30days from date of stay.

PAYMENT:

RESERVATION PROCEDURE:
For reservations not booked online, a written request is required to proceed with a reservation. Written confirmation of the reservation is forwarded via e-mail. Once the reservation is confirmed with payment received, the client is liable for cancellation fees.

DEPOSIT PAYMENTS:
A 20% deposit is required to secure the reservation within 48 Hours days of confirmation.
Balance payment is due 4 weeks (28 days) prior to arrival. Any reservation made within 4 weeks of travel, full and final payment is due with confirmation.
Travel 15 Dec – 05 January
A 20% deposit is required to secure the reservation within 48 hours of confirmation.
Balance payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Any reservation made within 8 weeks of travel, full and final payment is due with confirmation.
Bookings not secured with payment or deposit:
Should La Petite Ferme receive a secondary booking/enquiry against the same date we are holding for you, La Petite Ferme will endeavour to contact you. A 24-hour response time will be provided. A Response to confirm the initial booking must be secured with deposit payment within 2 days ( 48 hours ) of confirmation. A response to release the provisional booking will be effective immediately.
Extras may be settled on departure. Rates are valid at the time of booking. Should payment not be received as stipulated, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. In the unlikely event of there being an unscheduled postponement of a reservation caused by bad weather, strikes or any other matter beyond our control, it is understood that expenses incurred will be for the client’s account. Should payment not be received as stipulated we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

CANCELLATIONS:

Due to force majeure or travel restrictions, the following will be applicable:
Prior to 30 days before arrival: The 20% deposit payment made against the cancelled booking will be kept as travel credit towards future bookings, which can be redeemed up to 12 months from the original date of travel. The credit is guest specific and cannot be transferred to other parties. Proof for cancellation (cancelled flight, a positive test result etc) will be requested to validate the reason.
Within 30 days of arrival: 20% of the booking value will be kept as travel credit towards future bookings, which can be redeemed up to 12 months from the original date of travel. The credit is client guest specific and cannot be transferred to other parties. The remainder 80% of the booking value will be credited to the guests’ account. Proof for cancellation (cancelled flight, a positive test result etc) will be requested to validate the reason.

Christmas (from 21st December – 4th January) as well as Easter Weekend, 100% (full amount) will be charged and converted as travel credit, which can be redeemed up to 12 months from the original date of travel. The credit is guest specific and cannot be transferred to other parties.

NON – FORCE MAJEURE/ TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS:

NON- Refundable amount when cancelled,
29 – 45 Days prior to arrival: 20% Cancellation fee
15 – 28 Days prior to arrival: 50% Cancellation fee
0 -14 Days prior to arrival: 100% Cancellation fee

No refund can be done in the event of a no-show. In the event of premature departure, the full extent of the stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged. Refunds of deposits/prepayments for bookings are at the discretion of management and are dependent on the ability to re-let the room. La Petite Ferme reserves its right to cancel any booking done in case of no payment of the total amount due on time.
Non – Force Majeure & Non Covid 19 related Festive season Cancelation terms:

GENERAL:

TRANSFERS TO/FROM LA PETITE FERME
Please refer to our reservation’s office for road transfer requests. Road transfers can be arranged on request at an additional charge.

CHILDREN
Children can be accommodated in selected suites, upon prior arrangement.
All children under the age of two stays free of charge. A baby bed can be supplied.
All children from 2 – 12 years old are invoiced 20% of the room rate per night per child for an extra bed, including breakfast. Kindly note that we can accommodate only one bed per selected room.

CHECK-IN/OUT
Check-in time is at 14h30; guests arriving early are welcome to use hotel facilities. Check out time is 11h00; late departures are subject to occupancy /availability.
