Wine of origin Western Cape (Franschhoek and Stellenbosch)
The Shiraz is a balanced and elegantly crafted wine, but yet still complex enough to keep your attention. It delivers dark fruit flavours of succulent ripe plums and cherry while combining with the classic white pepper and warm winter spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. The wine also shows firm round tannins from spending 10 months in French oak.
Picked between 23.5-24.5 balling. Fermentation is in open fermenters for 10 days and cap punched down manually every 5 hours. Matured in 225L French oak barrels for 10 months with 15% new oak.
